Responsibilities

  • We deliver an exceptional experience that elevates the performance and lifestyle of our members through an ecosystem of people, products, places, and spaces.
  • Kiln is expanding across the western United States and over the coming years will engage in numerous new Kiln site construction and build projects.
  • In addition, Kiln will continue to upgrade and maintain its existing sites.
  • This individual will also manage one or multiple Project Managers within the Build and Procurement Team, third-party architects, contractors, vendors, and other internal/external stakeholders.
  • He/she will negotiate contracts, pricing and deadlines with suppliers and vendors; use risk management procedures to protect Kiln and its stakeholders; monitor and forecast projects, product and vendors to predict and account for financial fluctuations; and, constantly maintain budgets and communicate changes to stakeholders on project outcome.
  • Continued creative inputs into the Kiln product and build process
  • Prepare and perform projects for peak efficiency using the iron triangle, this includes managing and optimizing cost, time, and quality/experience
  • Manage GC relationships, owns bidding and pricing exercises, and owns every aspect of the project, managing with key partners in Kiln

  • Ideal Experience and Skills
  • 5+ years working in the commercial construction industry
  • Experience with traditional office build-outs / tenant improvement
  • Detailed commercial construction project management experience
