About the role

Surespan Structures is seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Duncan, BC.
This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of structural steel fabrication contributing directly to the successful delivery of high-profile infrastructure across Canada.
This role is best suited for a results-driven Project Manager who thrives in a collaborative environment, understands fabrication-driven projects, and is looking to play a meaningful role in both project execution and pre-construction planning.

Lead projects from award through to completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
Collaborate with Project Managers, Estimators, and Operations to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
Document control and project correspondence
Maintain clear, proactive communication with all stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Support cost-effective project delivery through strong coordination and decision-making
Estimating Support
Support tender preparation and budgeting alongside the estimating team
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers
Support team success through collaboration, accountability, and shared goals
Manage and track all project documentation including contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, and site instructions

5 -10 years of Fabrication experience, including 3-5 years as a Qualified Project Manager
Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and project controls
All applicants must be located in Canada and eligible/permitted to work in Canada.

Experience in structural steel or heavy civil/bridge projects (fabrication experience preferred)
