About the role
- It operates across four core markets: political news and opinion, business news and personal finance, golf, and sports and genre entertainment.
- The Director is responsible for coordinating the studio operation on and off the air for Versant Sports with a focus on Golf Channel Studio shows.
Responsibilities
- Directing live shows without a script and minimal rundown support, especially during breaking news stories
- Lead the control room and studio technicians before and during any live or live-to-tape program to keep them informed of the show's rundown, camera shots, effects, playback order and other specific commands

Requirements
- College Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Show Director in a live television production environment
- Experience in launching a broadcast or television program
- Must be a team player
- Must be willing to take constructive feedback
- Must be detail and deadline oriented
- Must be creative and extremely organized and prepared
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must be willing to travel if/when needed
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
