About the role

  • Kranze Technology Solutions is seeking a Quality Engineer (QE) to join our growing Quality team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain documentation such as quality plans, inspection procedures, and quality reports based upon contractual, design, manufacturing, inspection standard, and regulatory testing requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues, process and material improvements, product development, and documentation
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • The position will work to maintain and improve quality across all facets of KTS's production efforts and quality systems in support of ISO 9001, AS9100, ITAR, customer-specific requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • We provide hardware and software product development, systems integration, system test and evaluation support, modeling and simulation analysis, and other engineering services to support the Warfighter.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a related field (Quality, Engineering, Math, Industrial, etc.) or Associates degree with related coursework and/or work history
  • Proven experience of 3+ years as a quality engineer within an aviation, electro-mechanical, fabrication, connector/cable, or defense industry
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical measuring and software systems
  • US Citizenship required
  • Experience with APQP, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with Quality Management Systems (ex.

Nice to have

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred

Compensation

  • As required by law in this state, the estimated salary range for this position is $90,000-$130,000 and represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect.
