Requirements
- 6 + years of experience in HVAC and Plumbing Design and Project Management with the ability to put together complete sets of biddable construction documents.
- Must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to maintain client relationships as an ambassador for Design West Engineering
- Strong experience with AutoCAD and Revit MEP
- Experience in various project types and market sectors
- Must be able to multitask between different projects and have adaptability to changing technologies, codes, and tools
- Experience with proposal writing and client development
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with complex mechanical systems in an array of project sectors, such as medical, K-12, commercial, and data centers
- LEED certified professional
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer in the State of Washington
- Some job duties will include:
- Project Management through all phases of the project
- Running point on proposals for your clients and contributing to proposals for secondary markets
- Ensure all projects are completed according to applicable building codes and company standards
- Formulate a cohesive design solution within scheduled timelines and project budget.
- Develop client relationships through quality of service and project delivery
- Engage new clients and industry events to develop new business opportunities
Compensation
- $90,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience
- Opportunity for a bonus twice per year
