Responsibilities
- Develop suppliers to meet special capabilities, processes, capacity and quality of Applied's spares. Support Quality Improvement work assistance via Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events and auditing suppliers.
- Provide direction in developing employee base and driving improvements within key functions in area of responsibility
- Perform quantitative, statistical, and risk analyses to determine the direct and indirect costs. Follow Six Sigma and continuous improvement processes to improve departmental performance on an on-going basis.
- Drive / direct Supplier Engineering problem resolution/escalation arising from vendor performance issues for assigned commodities and services.
- Maintain effective relationships with key suppliers. Work across functional departments, to develop consistent / one face of Applied to meet CI initiatives and supply base improvement projects
- Applies in-depth understanding of how own discipline integrates within the segment/function
- Manages multiple related teams, sets organizational priorities and allocates resources
- Develop suppliers to meet special capabilities, processes, capacity and quality of Applied's spares.

- Work with cross functional departments, to develop cost reduction and avoidance initiatives and supply base improvement projects
Compensation
- $171,500.00 - $236,000.00
- Meet key performance measures within the organization in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Determine and maintain the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) budgetary planning and ensure launch dates and cost reduction targets are met.
