About the role

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during Heavy Maintenance Visits (HMVs).
  • Coordinate daily with maintenance, quality assurance, engineering, planning, materials, and production teams to monitor aircraft progress.
  • Provide customers with routine project updates, maintenance status reports, schedule changes, and projected completion timelines.

Responsibilities

  • The HMV Representative works closely with maintenance operations, quality assurance, engineering, planning, materials, and customer personnel to manage maintenance events from aircraft induction through return-to-service.
  • Monitor project milestones, aircraft downtime, and critical path items to support on-time aircraft delivery.
  • Support aircraft delivery activities, customer inspections, acceptance walks, and final documentation reviews.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and responsive service.
  • Identify and communicate risks that could impact schedule, quality, or budget while helping develop effective solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in commercial aircraft maintenance, aviation operations, MRO, production control, maintenance planning, quality assurance, or customer support.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft heavy maintenance operations and FAA regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to obtain airport security badges and customer-required access credentials.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting heavy maintenance visits on Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, or regional aircraft.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems such as TRAX, AMOS, Corridor, or similar MRO software.
  • Previous experience in production control, maintenance planning, project management, customer representation, or technical operations.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of engineering change processes, non-routine work packages, maintenance planning, and return-to-service documentation.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in both office and aircraft hangar environments.
  • Ability to walk extended distances throughout maintenance facilities.
