About the role

This position is a fixed-term contract position.
Start Dates: Many of these positions and programs will start in early November after the completion of renovations to our main program spaces.
However, we welcome new class ideas and suggestions at any time!

As a Recreation Program Instructor, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver high-quality recreational activities to the Sparwood community, promoting a positive and welcoming environment, and ensuring the safety and engagement of all participants.
Prepare and maintain program equipment and materials

Qualified applicants who are offered and accept the position may be required to complete a satisfactory pre-employment background check.

and/or experience related to the program(s) being taught
Standard First Aid and CPR C with AED
Independent decision making, problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively with participants, parents/guardians, and team members
Ability to assess participants' needs and determining modifications if needed

The pay range for these positions is $24.00 - $34.00 /per hour dependent on qualifications and experience.
