  • These projects will include New Product Introduction (NPI), Direct Material Productivity (DMP), resolving customer issues, and sustaining existing products.
  • Reporting to the R&D/ Senior Technical Manager, this position will be expected to demonstrate leadership globally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics or equivalent from an accredited university or college
  • Experience with SiC and GaN devices-based power converter design
  • Knowledge of IPC 9592B
  • Knowledge of IPC 9592B - Requirements for Power Conversion Devices for the Computer and Telecommunications Industries

Nice to have

  • Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics preferred

Skills

  • Selecting AC/DC and DC/DC topologies based on product requirements
  • Designing controllers for AC/DC and isolated DC/DC converters
  • Optimizing designs for efficiency, density, and cost
  • Creating schematics, bills of material, and PCB layouts
  • Creating high density PCB layout with noise and EMI mitigation
  • Introducing the product into high-volume production
  • Leading projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Preparing invention disclosures to protect intellectual property
  • Mentoring junior engineers
