About the role

  • Located at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, the JNWC is the DOD's Center of Excellence for Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and PNT capabilities integration.
  • Your work will directly impact joint planning, Operation Plan (OPLAN) analysis, and the execution of NAVWAR operations across all domains and military operations.

Responsibilities

  • You will facilitate the seamless sharing of information, both within the organization and with external partners, and you will integrate this information sharing into Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4), cyber, and cyberspace operations to enhance overall effectiveness and collaboration.

  • In this pivotal role, you will support the warfighter by providing expert modeling and simulation support to assure and prevent PNT information through coordinated employment of space, cyberspace, and electronic warfare operations.

Requirements

  • An active DoD Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
  • A bachelor's degree in cyber security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently with limited government oversight.
  • What You Can Expect:
  • Required:
  • Certifications including CompTIA's Network+, CompTIA's Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner, or industry equivalent (8570 compliant certs).
  • Five years of relevant Cyber Security experience.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Desired:
  • Prior experience with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U.S. Cyber Command (CYBERCOM), Joint Force Headquarters‐Cyber (JFHQ‐C), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), JFHQ‐DoD Information Network (JFHQ‐DoDIN), or other CYBERCOM components.
  • Capacity to function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.

Compensation

  • There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
  • We offer competitive compensation, benefits and learning and development opportunities.
  • The proposed salary range for this position is:
  • $60,100 - $123,200
