About the role
- This position aids coaches and athletic staff to ensure compliance with all aspects of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Serve as the primary contact with NCAA Eligibility Center for incoming freshmen student-athlete eligibility.
- Answer questions and responds accordingly to compliance inquiries from high school administrators, parents, prospective student-athletes and the UIC community at large.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain systems of communication, organization, documentation, and evaluation to establish accountability in all areas of compliance.
- Formulate and implement the NCAA waiver process for eligibility, amateurism issues, legislative relief, and student-athlete reinstatement.
- Manage sensitive and confidential information related to student-athletes, coaches and staff.
