About the role
- By owning the operational backbone of our go-to-market engine, you will remove friction, improve execution speed, and ensure the BD team operates at peak performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on advisory across CRM strategy, internal process design, team organizational op model, data insights and day-to-day operational decision making.
- You'll be the CBO's go-to partner for ensuring execution of strategic priorities throughout the year.
- Data-Driven Insights: Deliver analysis that helps inform team performance in market, product utilization, forecasting insights, and revenue trends for BD.
- Customer Prioritization: Build and maintain account/client tiering and prioritization frameworks that help BD focus on the highest-value opportunities.
- BD Ops Trainings: Develop and run training sessions for the business development team, empowering them with the tools and processes needed to succeed.
- Proven ability to build and improve operational processes from the ground up (SOPs, automation, cross-functional workflows).
- With LayerZero's simple, generic messaging protocol, builders will develop cross-chain dApps designed to unify the power of individual blockchains.
Nice to have
- 3-5+ years of experience in business operations, revenue operations, sales operations, or a similar function, ideally within a tech startup, high-growth, or Web3 environment.
- Excellent cross-functional communication.
- You thrive as the connective tissue between BD, Finance, Legal, Product, and Marketing.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership and ambiguity.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Linear, or similar) and modern GTM tooling.
- Experience supporting or partnering closely with executive leadership is a strong plus.
