Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance management by leading maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules.
- As the Technical Maintenance Manager, you will serve as the key technical and maintenance leader for the facility, partnering closely with operations leadership to drive equipment reliability, continuous improvement, and manufacturing excellence.
- This role serves as the plant's Progressive Maintenance Pillar Owner, driving critical performance metrics and leading initiatives that support Safety, Quality, Reliability, Efficiency, Cost, Delivery, and Sustainability.
- Additionally, this leader will be responsible for the development, coaching, and support of our Maintenance Coordinators while helping shape the future of one of Smucker's most historic manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- Experience with maintenance work development, planning, and scheduling.
- Experience leading teams and collaborating across multiple functions.
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, including hands-on maintenance expertise and the ability to teach others.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Candidates are expected to remain in this role for 3 to 5 years and be open to relocation for future career opportunities within The J.M. Smucker Company.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree required
- Engineering degree preferred.
- Experience with a CMMS is required (Oracle eAM preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing operations experience preferred.
- Food or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is a plus.
