About the role
- Performs designated routine patient mobilization tasks and coordinates daily unit specific patient mobilization activities.
- Documents Transport functions on Command Center, relays Progressive Mobility Rounds to pt nurse and and works under the direction of PT/OT/SLP regarding assistance with therapy per individual pt.
- Mobility techs also perform additional administrative duties as assigned specific to Progressive Mobility.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED required.
- Working knowledge of EPIC, ROVER and Outlook software.
Nice to have
- Excel and Word processing skills preferred.
- Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time.
- Lifting at least 20 pounds is required.
- Physical Effort required:
- Constant (67%-100%) - hearing, seeing
- Frequently (34%-66%) - pushing/pulling, climbing, handling/feeling, talking
- Occasionally (1%-33%) - lifting, carrying, stooping, crouching, reaching
