About the role

- This team is a small group of highly motivated people designing, testing, and flying advanced mechanical systems.
- This position will be located at our facility in Mountain View, California.
Responsibilities
- In your role as Avionics Mechanical Engineer you will work with the avionics, mechanical, and integration teams to define the hardware interfaces, design the detailed harnesses including definition of the harness routing, design and test enclosures for environmental protection, and design the structural mounts for securing the hardware in the airplane.
- 2+ years experience in mechanical or avionics hardware design
- 4+ years experience in harness design and avionics packaging
- Experience performing design trades for and detail design of aerospace flight harnesses
- An offer of employment will be contingent upon the applicant's capacity to perform in compliance with U.S. export control laws.
Requirements
- Experience with NX routing and Capital Harness Designer
- Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.

Compensation
- The estimated salary range for this position is $118,000 to $170,000/annual salary + cash and stock option awards + benefits.
