About the role

  • As an Associate Director, you will spearhead the development and execution of manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with our core objectives of safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Your role is pivotal in fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace, championing a culture of open communication and continuous improvement.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, actively driving safety enhancements and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership to drive the evolution of the BD Productions System/BD Excellence, and expansion of Kaizen as the foundational elements to drive end to end reductions in the Zero Loss.
  • Coordinates & collaborates on projects & initiatives with the R&D, Human Resources, Q.A., Finance, Materials, and Marketing, as necessary to drive positive business outcomes.
  • Flexibility to support presence on all shifts.
  • Oversees & guides the establishment of yearly budgets and goals and communicates, monitors, and handles the budget throughout the planned period, to ensure goals are met to drive the best business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field)
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, teach, & train.

  • Minimum of 15 years of total manufacturing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority.
  • Ability to follow applicable quality regulations as identified by the organization.

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of Cross Functional experience in one of the following: Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, or Finance.
  • It is preferred that the role was at the supervisor and/or manager level.
