About the role

  • Job Title: Maintenance Technician II Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor Summary: Maintenance Mechanics report to the Maintenance Supervisor and are responsible for maintaining and repairing UNEX Manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance throughout the facility
  • Use skills to operate machinery and equipment safely within limitations to inspect, maintain, diagnose and repair equipment
  • Perform other job-related duties, which may include occasional tasks outside the normal scope of the position

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with common and specialized maintenance tools and equipment
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have work authorization that does not now, nor in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment the United States
  • Minimum of high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-2 years related experience or 3+ years equivalent of education and experience

  • Ability to diagnose issues and implement solutions
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Skilled in effectively using common and specialized maintenance tools
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and effective verbal and written communication
  • Noise Level: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high
  • Second Shift 3:30-12:00 midnight

Compensation

  • $12k-$30k
