About the role
- CAIS provides financial advisors with a broad selection of alternative investment strategies, including hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate, digital assets, and structured notes.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to product approval materials and review fund legal documents
- Establish and manage cross-functional working groups (Investments, Operations, Tax, Legal & Compliance, Marketing, Finance, Technology) to ensure on-time fund launches
- Provide dedicated support for CAIS's asset manager relationships, delivering a consistent and high-quality manager experience:
- Drive adoption of self-service marketing, sales, and operational tools
- Drive new product introduction and operationalization from concept through launch
- Manage ongoing product lifecycle - performance tracking, enhancements, and optimization
- Design and improve the asset manager experience across onboarding, reporting, and ongoing engagement
Requirements
- 4-8 years in alternative investments, product management, product development, investor/advisor relations, or financial services strategy
- comfort with fund economics and performance metrics
- Excellent project management skills. ability to run multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree required
- Prior experience working across cross-functional teams (Legal, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Sales) in a product or launch capacity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfort with fund economics and performance metrics
- Clear, confident communicator - able to translate complex investment concepts for internal stakeholders, advisors, and asset manager partners
- Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset; comfortable operating independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
- Series 7 or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
- Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
Nice to have
- CFA, CAIA, or MBA a plus
- Hands-on experience with private fund structures - private equity, private credit, real estate, hedge funds, and/or emerging structures (SMAs, DSTs, ETFs preferred)
- Background in client-facing or GP/advisor relationship roles a strong plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
Skills
- Engage proactively with incremental GP relationships to expand the platform pipeline
- Advise on fund structures, terms, and positioning based on competitive intelligence and target client base
- Collect and synthesize competitive intelligence - fundraising, fees, structures - from databases, Sales, and wealth management channels
- Assist with due diligence coordination - investor Q&A, meetings with investment teams, and approval processes
- Serve as primary point of contact for asset manager relationships across the platform
- Conduct dashboard and reporting training, sales pipeline education, and advisor-facing teach-in programs
- Coordinate with Sales teams on regional events, roadshows, and manager engagement activities
- These tools are used to improve efficiency and consistency, but they do not replace human judgement.
Compensation
- If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $165,000.
