About the role

  • Our client operates a comprehensive residential training program serving young adults ages 16-24.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational, cultural, athletic, and leisure-time activities for students.
  • Supervise recreational programs, intramural sports, fitness activities, clubs, tournaments, and special events.

Responsibilities

  • The Recreational Aide helps create a safe, structured, and engaging residential environment while encouraging positive student participation in center life.
  • Collaborate with instructors, counselors, residential advisors, and other Center staff to support student success.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support Center operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to motivate and engage diverse student populations.
  • Ability to supervise group activities while maintaining a safe environment.
  • Must successfully pass all required background investigations and federal security requirements before beginning work.
  • Maintain attendance records, activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
  • Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of conflict resolution and behavior management techniques.
  • Work Schedule Part-time Approximately 20 hours per week.
  • Schedule may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events based on the operational needs of the facility.

Compensation

  • $16k-$24k
