Responsibilities
- Develop creative and impactful communications and networked systems solutions for national challenges.
- Design, develop, integrate, and test communications and network software, including protocol implementation, network services, and distributed systems.
- Architect, develop, integrate, and test software-based command and control, secure communication, and networking systems.
Nice to have
- Work to ensure solutions operate in degraded or contested environments.
- Provide technical contributions and leadership in the development of software systems.
- Interact with technical specialists in other fields and present work to sponsors and the technical community.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- At least ten years of relevant experience in software system development, ideally in a Linux environment.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, routing, switching, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
- Demonstrated skill with C, C++, Python, Rust, and BASH scripting, following software engineering best practices.
- Experience devising approaches and using tools to debug networked systems (e.g., tcpdump, Wireshark, netstat, ss).
Compensation
- $100k-$245k
Visa & Work Authorization
- Active Top Secret security clearance and capability to obtain a TS/SCI level clearance
