About the role

Coordinate with carriers, shippers, and receivers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery performance
Monitor shipment activity and proactively resolve operational issues, delays, or service disruptions
Communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status and operational impacts

Manage daily transportation execution activities for assigned customer accounts
Utilize Uber Freight's Transportation Management System (TMS) to support the full shipment lifecycle, including load building, tendering, tracking, and updates
Support appointment scheduling and shipment visibility updates
Partner cross-functionally with internal operations, carrier management, and customer support teams to drive successful outcomes
Uber Freight is looking for Logistics Specialists to support dedicated customer accounts within our Managed Transportation organization.

1+ year of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, customer operations, or a related field
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
OR Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business, or a related field

2+ year of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, customer operations, or a related field
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business, or a related field
Experience working within a Transportation Management System (TMS)
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
Experience working in a customer-focused operational environment
