About the role

  • Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and overall engineering quality.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture with opportunities to grow into technical leadership.
  • Technology Stack: Python, TypeScript, React, GraphQL 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack or backend development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and scale highly reliable backend systems and full-stack applications.
  • Own projects end-to-end, from architecture and technical design through deployment and ongoing iteration.
  • Build features across customer-facing applications, backend services, analytics platforms, and real-time infrastructure.
  • Develop scalable APIs, distributed systems, and modern web applications.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Proven experience designing and building scalable, production-grade software.
  • Experience owning complex technical projects from design through production.
  • Their proprietary platform combines real-time voice infrastructure, custom AI orchestration, and advanced speech technology to deliver enterprise-grade conversational AI at scale.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Python and either TypeScript/React or large-scale backend systems.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, system architecture, and performance optimization.

Nice to have

  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives is highly preferred.

Compensation
