About the role
- The bartender is tasked with curating exceptional experiences for discerning guests, the bartender blends technical expertise, creativity, and impeccable service standards.
- The role demands a deep understanding of classic and contemporary mixology, superior interpersonal skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest level of professionalism in every interaction that matches the luxury standards of the hotel.

Responsibilities
- The ability to adjust and/or replicate recipes (both written or verbal) and maintain consistency is critical.
- Develop signature cocktails and seasonal specials in collaboration with the Food & Beverage Manager.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times, adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current beverage trends, cocktail recipes, and innovative presentation techniques.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in hotel, country club or fine dining environment.
Skills
- Thorough knowledge in POS systems (i.e., Toast) to process guest orders and payments
- Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits and mixology, including beverage "call names" and recipes
- Familiarity with responsible alcohol service and food handling/safety procedures.
- Personal Skills:
- Ability to understand and give general instructions in standard situations.
- Strong organizational, analytical skills, and communication skills in English (verbal and written). Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage and connect with a variety of guests.
- May require shift work, overtime and/or on call duties. See under "Other."
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, guest-service approach.
- Physical Skills:
- Stooping, standing, reaching, and frequent lifting of food/beverages
- May be required to work extended periods of time without relief.
