About the role

  • Overview The Accounts Receivable Representative III is responsible for collecting outstanding accounts receivable from third party payers; both government and commercial.
  • The base pay estimate for this role is $18.17 - $29.04 hourly.
  • The final offer will depend on the skills, experience, and qualifications of the selected candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains an accuracy rating of 97% or greater on audited accounts.
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality.
  • Provides peer payer and system training support.
  • At this time, US Anesthesia Partners does not hire candidates residing in California, Hawaii, or Alaska.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of insurance processing, guidelines, laws, and EOBs.
  • Knowledge of managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid guidelines.
  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 and ASA codes.
  • Must have a pleasant disposition and high tolerance level.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Must be a self-motivator and goal oriented.
  • Highschool graduate or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years professional/healthcare preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills to maintain professionalism in all methods of communication.
  • Basic math skills for calculating anesthesia units, proper reimbursement, and percentages for appropriate adjustments.
  • Understanding of Medical terminology.
  • Data entry skills with high accuracy.
  • Good problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration or related field of study is preferred.
  • 3+ years Accounts Receivable experience preferred.

Compensation

  • The base pay estimate for this role is $18.17 - $29.04 hourly.

Benefits

  • This position is eligible for a quarterly bonus.
