Responsibilities
- Support the Life Sciences Sequencing Operations team by managing several biotech and pharma customer account scope activities by collecting key project metrics, organizing project performance, and providing proactive, detailed client-facing materials for the client touchpoints and other meetings.
- Support escalation and resolution of critical project related issues, with the ability to be resourceful and decisive without oversight.
- Maintain accurate, high-quality collateral and ensure extremely organized documentation across all projects and portals.
- Tempus' proprietary platform connects an entire ecosystem of real-world evidence to deliver real-time, actionable insights to physicians, providing critical information about the right treatments for the right patients, at the right time.
Requirements
- A self-starter with strong proactive communication skills, who is highly organized and systematic with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks.
- Comfort with ambiguity and understanding complex process workflows.
- Prior work in industries (3+ years) related to Life Sciences, genomic sequencing, or oncology
- 1+ year of experience in management consulting, customer success, account management, or client-facing roles.
- Energized by working with external stakeholders and interested in client management long-term.
- Creative and analytical mindset in order to problem solve, and confidence to ask key questions.
- Commitment to the success of the team
- brings a collaborative attitude and the ability to create strong relationships.
- Skillful at working both independently and in team settings and comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated interest in the Healthcare industry, especially the 'business' side of science through prior professional or extracurricular experiences.
- Experience in a healthcare technology company is highly preferred.
- Advanced skills in Google suite, Slack, Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Salesforce.com and/or Looker experience is a plus

Nice to have
- Degree or relevant experience in cancer biology, molecular biology, immunology, bioengineering, computational biology, or related fields are highly preferred.
- Advanced skills in Google suite, Slack, Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Salesforce.com and/or Looker experience is a plus
Compensation
- The expected salary range above is applicable if the role is performed from Illinois and may vary for other locations (California, Colorado, New York).
