- You report to the Production Supervisor and work alongside the assembly team on the shop floor.
Responsibilities
- Able to read basic shop drawings or assembly instructions to build units to spec
Skills
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on curtain wall assembly experience
- Comfortable working with glass, aluminum framing, and related curtain wall components
- Skilled with hand tools and shop power tools used in assembly work
- Forklift or overhead crane certification is a plus, but not required
- Reliable and consistent, you show up ready to work and follow through without being chased
- Comfortable in a manufacturing setting, you keep pace on the line and adjust as priorities shift
- Physically capable of the role, you can lift, move, and handle materials safely throughout a shift
- Detail-oriented, you catch a misaligned frame or a scratched panel before it moves down the line
- Safety-conscious by habit, you handle glass, tools, and equipment with care and speak up when something looks off

- Cut, fit, and join aluminum framing components using hand and power tools

- The Curtain Wall Assembler builds curtain wall units out of the Primeline location, working with glass, aluminum framing, and hand and power tools to put together components that end up on the side of a building.
- This is a hands-on, general labour role at its core, but we're looking for someone who already knows curtain wall assembly and can step in with less ramp-up time.
- You'll know things are going well when units come off the line built to spec, on schedule, and without rework.
