- Role Details Location: LUX Infusion Pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Infusion Nurse to see patients in their homes in Long Island, NY.
- Work location is subject to change based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions, obtain vital signs, complete physical assessments and reviews of systems, and document all patient‑related activities
- Perform venipuncture and manage venous access, including peripheral IVs and central lines (PICC, port, midline)
- Teach patients and caregivers how to safely perform and monitor home infusion therapy
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing coordinators, directors of nursing, agencies, and internal care teams
- Coordinate start‑of‑care and ongoing visits, confirm schedules, and communicate updates across care partners
- Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations, privacy requirements, and ethical standards
- Supports physicians, caregivers, and internal teams through clear communication and dependable clinical coordination

- This role plays an important part in helping LUX Infusion deliver a patient‑first experience by providing high‑quality infusion care directly in patients' homes.
Requirements
- IV certification and experience with central line care and management
- Comfort managing high‑acuity or stressful situations in the home environment
- Participate annually in required legal and ethical compliance training
