- Job Description Summary Organization's Summary Statement: The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) School of Pharmacy has several positions available as a Research Assistant.

Responsibilities
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- The successful candidate must be able to accept employment in the United States without Employer Immigration sponsorship.
- Cancer Biology, Pharmacology, Chemistry, Cell Biology, or equivalent degree
- medicinal chemistry, cancer biology, genetics and/or biostatistics required.
- The successful candidate must be able to show acceptable documentation establishing the right to accept employment in the United States of America without employer sponsorship.
Skills
- Knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative research methodologies.
- Knowledge of surveys, interviews, lab procedures, experiments, or fieldwork.
- Skill in written and verbal communication for reporting and collaboration.
- Skill in precision data entry, analysis, and documentation.
- Skill in computational and problem-solving techniques.
- Skill in maintaining research records, files, and data integrity.
- Ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and draw conclusions.
- Ability to work effectively with faculty, researchers, and fellow assistants.

Compensation
- $53,000 - $60,000
