About the role

  • The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining Gentex facilities with integrity and attention to detail, ensuring a clean and safe work environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout assigned building, including restrooms, cafeteria break areas and plant offices.
  • Perform routine indoor and outdoor housekeeping duties, including transporting refuse and recyclables to designated exterior disposal areas in all seasons and weather conditions.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting.
  • Maintain supply levels in responsible areas and restock as needed.
  • Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.
  • Physical endurance to cover large building spaces.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand, remain stationary, and/or move about for 8 hours.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a required level of performance.
