About the role
- Recommends new technology and ideas to improve efficiency in engineering services (i.e. AI implementation)
- Conducts business in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
- Upholds all company and customer policies, procedures and guidelines and holds others accountable for doing the same.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand company goals and implements scaffold and Allform engineering design services to meet business objectives.
- Develops standards and procedures to ensure engineering and design standards are met and maintained.
- Reviews and stamps engineering drawings in support of the business Coordinates with 3rd Party Engineering firms as appropriate to stamp engineering drawings.
- Builds, develops, and manages an engineering and design team capable of carrying out company initiatives.
- Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
- Work with the Safety Team to ensure projects personnel adhere to design requirements, while also capable of assisting with accident investigations primarily related to product failures
- Manages Allform patents.
- Leads all product development efforts.
- Leads by example.
Requirements
- Manages required corporate professional engineering licenses for business operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering required
- Licensed Professional Engineer seal required
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry as it relates to scaffolding, formwork and shoring.
