- The SharePoint Online Migration Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and supporting migrations from legacy SharePoint environments into modern SharePoint Online.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pre‑migration assessments, inventory reports, mapping documents, content normalization, and remediation plans.
- Collaborate with business owners to translate legacy forms and workflows (e.g., InfoPath, SPD workflows) into sustainable, cloud‑ready solutions.
- Build and enhance Power Apps connected to SharePoint lists, libraries, and external data sources.
- Create Power Automate flows to replace legacy SharePoint Designer workflows and automate routine business processes.
- Implement governance-aligned best practices for Power Platform deployments, ALM, and solution lifecycle management.

Nice to have
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS‑700, MS‑600, PL‑100/200/400, SC‑300).
- Experience with SPFx, TypeScript, React, or other modern development frameworks.
- Background supporting federal, regulated, or secure enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with taxonomy, content types, and enterprise metadata strategies.
- Security Clearance requirement:
- Must possess active TS/SCI clearance to be considered for this role.

Skills
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, permissions, site templates, lists/libraries, and modern UI.
- Proficiency executing custom PowerShell scripts for SharePoint administration, migration, and automation (PnP, Graph, CSOM).
- Experience converting classic SharePoint Designer workflows or InfoPath forms into modern solutions.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 services including Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Power Platform governance.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
