About the role

Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Own the full-cycle accounting process, including journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations.
- Month-End & Year-End Close: Lead close processes, performing variance analysis, and resolving discrepancies to deliver clean, reliable financials.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with leadership to develop budgets, financial plans, and ad hoc reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Develop and refine accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to drive operational efficiency and scalability.
- Collaboration and Vendor Management: Collaborate globally with our outside financial team.
- Compliance & Tax: Awareness of federal, state, and local tax regulations; assist with tax preparation, filings, and audit support.
Requirements
- To ensure success, you should have extensive experience with full-cycle accounting, financial analysis, and process improvement.
- 3+ years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience with increasing responsibility
- experience with project-based accounting or revenue recognition
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, ERP platforms Sage, Brex, and Bill.com
- Proven ability to identify financial trends, resolve discrepancies, and translate data into actionable insights.
- Systems Proficiency: Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, ERP platforms Sage, Brex, and Bill.com

Compensation
- $75,000 - $105,000 USD
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
