- This role involves the layout, fabrication, assembly, and installation of ductwork systems and related sheet metal components according to specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality checks to ensure systems meet design and code requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sheet metal experience in commercial HVAC/MEP construction.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of SMACNA standards and commercial duct installation practices.
- Strong understanding of construction safety procedures.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.
- Proficient in the use of sheet metal tools and equipment.
- Preferred:
Nice to have
- Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program.
- OSHA 10/30 certification.
- Experience leading small crews.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
