Requirements
- 2-year degree or equivalent certification or work experience required.
- 2-3 years' practical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment and with automated equipment required.
- Grow and develop the team by sharing knowledge/experience.
- Act as a ROCKWOOL ambassador demonstrating our core values of Ambition, Integrity, Responsibility and Efficiency.
- What you will be doing:
- Install and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) using skills to troubleshoot with communication software.
- Perform Maintenance and Electrical tasks including but not limited to the following: Calibrating, monitoring, repairing and maintaining transmitters, controllers, plant safety systems, power systems and sensors.
- Maintain equipment by way of planned preventive maintenance programs, keeping maintenance records per company policies as well as advanced troubleshooting of electrical/electronic equipment during shift.
- Provide electrical and instrumentation support to the functional area to ensure production can continue in a safe and effective manner.
- Install, calibrate, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical instrumentation, equipment and associated electrical/electronic controls and related devices for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- Install, visually examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, transformers, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.

- Proficient knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers(PLC)/Automation, Siemens preferred
