About the role

- Chemours is seeking a Contracted Construction and Maintenance Services (CCMS) Buyer to join our growing Procurement team.
- This hybrid position is located in Wilmington, DE and reports to the Procurement Manager, Site Services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years supporting construction, facilities, maintenance, or capital project categories
- Experience sourcing contractors, engineering services, or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction)
- Knowledge of construction contracts and commercial terms
Nice to have
- Experience in manufacturing, preferably in the chemical industry or a site-based operating environment
- Experience with capital projects or facility operations
- Knowledge of legal terms in construction contracts (e.g., indemnity, liability, change orders)
- Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS)
- The incentive pay is dependent on business results and individual performance and subject to the terms and conditions of the specific plans.
Skills
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while managing commercial and operational risks
Compensation
- $110,544.00 - $172,725.00
