About the role
- Avantor is seeking a Production Trainer for the Paris, KY site.
- The Trainer is responsible for instruction and training in production occupations that will prepare the Packaging Operators for entry-level employment and certification in the production departments.
- Training can include, but is not limited to: QWI's; safety; business systems, etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training to all associates within the production department.
- Identify areas to improve processes and reduce errors and develop training to support those objectives.
Requirements
- Knowledge of computer applications, SAP, ETQ is desirable
- Ability to evaluate internal customer needs, and respond with appropriate action/delivery
- Accurately and punctually submits to the Supervisor all forms and completed trainings for required filing.
- Attends meetings as required by the Supervisor.

Nice to have

- High school diploma required
- Associate's degree in a life science or engineering discipline preferred
- Minimum of 3 years prior experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment, along with general understanding of semi-automated and/or automated equipment is preferred
