About the role
- Interact with production supervisors, engineering, quality, maintenance and other functions of the business to keep equipment operational and accomplish production objectives.
- Work as a collaborative team member to operate the equipment and establish test methods.
- Directs and participates in the repair of systems and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Under the guidance of the production supervisor, leads the operation of assigned production lines and/or segments of the production line, assigning tasks and maintaining schedules for on-shift technicians.
- Leads efforts to maintain excellent housekeeping and orderliness in assigned production areas.
- Ensures that work is completed safely, coaches on-shift technicians and identifies/implements safety improvements.
- Maintains proper levels of supplies/parts inventory and requests parts needed to keep production at optimum levels.
- Leads Automated Line Technicians supports the installation and operation of automated production and/or assembly lines.
- Partner with production supervisors in efforts to trouble shoot assigned production lines.
- Create, execute, and maintain SOPs for the line.
- Execute tasks as an individual contributor and a subject matter expert, occasionally interacting with external partners and vendors.

Nice to have
- Associates degree strongly preferred.
- High School Diploma required
Skills
- Minimum six (6) + years related experience.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Strong organization and analytical skills.
