About the role
- This role balances direct client service with team management, including performance monitoring, and ensuring adherence to firm compliance and planning standards.
Responsibilities
- enforce best practices, templates, and review protocols established by the Planning Associate Team Lead
- Address day-to-day personnel needs, including scheduling, workload balancing, and performance-related concerns with the support of the Planning Associate Team Leader
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports to provide coaching, support professional growth, and ensure alignment of goals, responsibilities, and development opportunities
- Monitor progress toward team and individual SMART goals, offering course correction and support as needed
- Collaborate with HR and Planning Associate Team Leader to support career development and make recommendations for promotions within the planning team
- Support team culture, morale, and cross-office collaboration
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a wealth management-related or financial services field
- Occasional travel may be required

- CFP or CFA certification
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated willingness to take initiative, support others, and lead by example
Nice to have
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interpersonal skills and a willingness to make decisions using sound and accurate judgement
- Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player, able to work well with all levels of the firm, and pitch in wherever needed
Compensation
- Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point of market reference for compensation decisions.
- $100-145,000 annually
- Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and most importantly, performance in the job role
