About the role

In this role, you will oversee the validation and integration of satellite platforms, payloads, and ground systems to ensure mission readiness and performance.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in satellite communications, systems engineering, and integration testing across LEO, MEO, or GEO satellite programs.

Lead system-level testing, validation, and verification activities for satellite and payload communication systems.
Develop and execute test strategies, procedures, and plans for satellite and payload integration.
Support the integration of space and ground segment systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful system integration and mission readiness.
Support flight software integration, satellite database validation, and operational testing.
Develop automation tools and scripts using Python or other scripting languages to improve testing efficiency.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
10+ years of relevant experience in digital communications within the space industry.
Experience with LEO, MEO, and/or GEO satellite communication systems.

Experience leading system integration, verification, and validation activities for satellite or payload systems.
Experience supporting satellite communications, payload development, or mission operations.
Knowledge of automated test frameworks and systems engineering best practices.
Strong leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

TBD -- based on skills and experience Important Screening Requirements Must be eligible to obtain or hold Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.

Candidates working remotely or in a hybrid capacity must be willing to travel and work on-site in Montreal for at least one week per month.
