About the role

  • The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining the daily operation of Pilot Plant by ensuring that breakdown
  • repairs and preventative maintenance on facility systems are carried out in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
  • This position is responsible for the electrical and mechanical installation of new equipment as well as repair, inspection,

Responsibilities

  • Follow safe work practices and support safety goals and objectives
  • Create, modify, read, and understand piping specification, engineering and electrical drawings.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent degree
  • Must be able to work closely with maintenance and production team
  • Working knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, E-Mail, maintenance management systems)
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3.
  • 5 years of Industrial electrical/mechanical or equivalent experience
  • SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with maintenance management systems.

Nice to have

  • Electrical and Mechanical experience
  • Experience in distributed control systems, PLCS, and instrumentation
  • Experience working in a high-performance work culture
  • Familiar with Process Safety Management concepts and requirements
  • Certified Welder
  • SAP maintenance management system experience
  • The plant currently works two 8 hour Maintenance shifts, Days and afternoons, five days a week.
  • This could change but not currently planned.
