- The Head of Royalty Services is a senior management position responsible for leading the Royalty Services department, including strategic planning and day-to-day management of workflows to meet departmental and Company goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Royalty Services department, providing strategic and operational leadership for the team.
- Establish and manage department KPIs and performance metrics to measure operational effectiveness, including billing and reporting timeliness, accuracy, customer response times, workload, and service levels.
- Drive process improvement and operational excellence by proactively identifying inefficiencies, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve processes, systems, technology, and team workflows.
- Lead initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, controls, and the overall customer experience, ensuring improvements are properly documented and implemented.
- Support existing and future revenue programs, partnering with the President, Business Development, Program Management, Licensing, and other leaders to evaluate business opportunities, develop operational processes, implement new revenue programs, and ensure Royalty Services is prepared to support organizational growth.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with the offices of the President and General Counsel, Licensing, Program Management, Global Compliance, IT, Accounting, and other internal stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted business partner and subject matter expert, providing timely communication, sound analysis, and effective solutions to operational and business issues.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing team, providing coaching, feedback, training, and ongoing performance management.

Requirements
- Manage the tax certificate process, ensuring timely collection, review, validation, and maintenance of required tax documentation for licensees.

Compensation
- Competitive compensation, including base salary and bonus opportunity.
- The Denver Area base salary range for this full-time position is $152,000 - $209,000 and can vary if outside of this location.
