Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute trade marketing programs including promotions, events, sponsorships, and POS initiatives across all brands.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness using data and insights to optimize future campaigns.
  • Partner with National Brand Managers and Sales teams to ensure seamless planning and execution.
  • Manage the regional trade marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation and ROI.
  • Support demand planning by ensuring promotional activities are accurately captured in forecasts.
  • Lead and coach Brand Activity Managers to drive high performance and capability development.
  • Identify and implement best practices, process improvements, and efficiency opportunities.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing tactical marketing plans

Requirements

  • Skills and Qualifications (Required)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a marketing or related role within a consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment, including leadership experience
  • The successful candidate must be bilingual (French and English).
  • Proficiency in English is required due to regular interaction with the Ontario-based head office, including participation in meetings and management discussions conducted in English.

Skills

  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated people management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and manage budgets effectively
  • Experience working cross-functionally and influencing multiple stakeholders
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing or a related business field
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20%
