About the role
- The individual for this role thrives on variety and multi-tasking.
- The Leasing Specialist will have a designated Property Manager and/or Leasing Manager to coordinate schedule and priorities.
Responsibilities
- Generates and manages prospective resident leads.
- Converts prospective phone, email or text customer leads to scheduled appointments to tour the property.
- Maintains accurate and detailed records of prospective resident leads by entering applicable information into the computer.
- Stays engaged and maintains current knowledge and any changes of the competing communities by shopping and/or visiting the competition on regular basis.
- Deliver notices to resident apartments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma is required.
Nice to have
- This role is ideally suited for a well-organized and customer savvy Leasing Consultant that will be responsible for the role of two or more assigned.
- A minimum of one year of previous sales or customer service experience is preferred.
- One year of previous residential leasing experience is preferred.
- LIHTC Experience preferred Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others.
- Prior experience in Entrata or another equivalent system is preferred.
