About the role

  • ThreatLocker® is a leader in endpoint protection technologies, providing enterprise-level cybersecurity tools to improve the security of servers and endpoints.
  • Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Reconcile sales tax reports, payroll reports, and related general ledger accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate tax rate tables and exemption certificates.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, Sales, Purchasing, IT, and other departments to ensure proper tax treatment and financial compliance.
  • Support tax planning, compliance initiatives, and financial reporting activities.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation to support compliance and audit requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and use tax compliance, accounting, or a related financial role.
  • Experience preparing and filing multi-jurisdictional sales and use tax returns.
  • Familiarity with tax software such as Avalara, Vertex, Sovos, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • If necessary, reasonable accommodation may be requested and will be evaluated for its relationship to the essential functions that must be performed.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
