About the role
- Reporting to senior leadership, you will define the scientific strategy for DMPK from early discovery through IND-enabling studies.
- This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of rigorous science and strategic drug development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all DMPK strategy and execution across Iambic's discovery programs, setting clear goals and ensuring alignment with cross-functional program teams.
- Design and oversee non-clinical ADME/PK studies and PK/PD modeling to enable candidate selection and accelerate IND filings.
- Build and manage a high-performing network of CRO partners and academic collaborators to supplement internal capabilities.
- Lead preparation and review of DMPK sections for regulatory submissions including INDs and NDAs
- You will collaborate with internal and external partners to plan and execute DMPK studies.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with at least 3 years of leadership experience in DMPK.
- Proven experience in designing, conducting, and interpreting DMPK studies supporting small molecule oncology programs.
- Experience with regulatory submissions is required.
- Expertise in regulatory requirements and industry standards for DMPK studies (ICH guidelines, FDA regulations etc.).
- PhD in Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or closely related discipline or PharmD
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
