About the role

  • SOCOTEC is a provider of niche consulting services within the architecture, engineering and construction industries focusing on high-performance buildings and specialty structures.
  • SOCOTEC's Specialty Engineering Team offers highly technical services in evaluating an asset's integrity, reliability, and operational capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Environmental Department and Staff.
  • Lead and manage environmental engineering projects from inception to completion ensuring projects meet established scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Conduct and/or manage tasks associated with environmental assessments and impact studies, environmental investigations, site inspections, and feasibility studies.
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Develop proposals resulting in the award of work with new and existing clients as well as bundle-sell with Managers of other Corporate Departments.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental engineering, project management, and team leadership.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Environmental Engineering.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil (Environmental) Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
