About the role
- SOCOTEC is a provider of niche consulting services within the architecture, engineering and construction industries focusing on high-performance buildings and specialty structures.
- SOCOTEC's Specialty Engineering Team offers highly technical services in evaluating an asset's integrity, reliability, and operational capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage Environmental Department and Staff.
- Lead and manage environmental engineering projects from inception to completion ensuring projects meet established scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
- Conduct and/or manage tasks associated with environmental assessments and impact studies, environmental investigations, site inspections, and feasibility studies.
- Develop and implement environmental management plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Develop proposals resulting in the award of work with new and existing clients as well as bundle-sell with Managers of other Corporate Departments.
Requirements

- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental engineering, project management, and team leadership.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Environmental Engineering.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Civil (Environmental) Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
