- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
- Minimum of 7+ years of engineering experience with leadership responsibility
- Experience and/or training in the development and maintenance of DFMEAs is required
- Experience with DFMEA, APQP, DFM/DFA, and Root Cause Analysis.
Nice to have
- Experience in battery systems, electrification, or industrial manufacturing highly preferred.
Skills
- Advanced project management skills
- Experience managing a change control environment
- Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and teamwork across all operations.
- Report staffing performance, issues, and needs to the Product Line Manager for alignment with organizational goals.
- Define and execute engineering strategy aligned to business and customer requirements.
- Ensure processes meet industrial customer requirements for durability, safety, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems (ISO, APQP, DFMEA) and safety standards.
- Maintain project timelines, KPIs, and performance reporting
- Responsible for driving cost reductions within area by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Compensation
- $125,600 - $172,700
