  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fiber Network Mapping Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • You won't just be entering data; you'll be trained to build and maintain the ever growing footprint of our customer fiber network.
  • Learn to document, edit, and manage all Outside Plant (OSP) long-haul fiber networks fiber assets interconnecting various Points-of-Presence (POPs) types.
  • Be trained to review engineering diagrams, design schematics, and vendor As-Built documentation.
  • Assist senior specialists in ensuring the accuracy and logical structure of the field infrastructure assets by reviewing design drawings, schematics, diagrams, performing detailed data checks, and helping resolve discrepancies between the physical infrastructure and its digital representation.
  • Provide support by running basic network data reports, assisting with capacity checks, and facilitating communication between the engineering, installation, and field survey teams.

Requirements

  • Required Foundational Knowledge & Skills
  • Telecommunications Interest: Foundational knowledge or proven interest in telecommunications construction techniques, networking principles, or fiber optic technology.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to be highly organized and meticulous when working with data or complex documentation.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency with Google suite (especially Sheets) and a strong ability to learn new, complex software platforms quickly.
  • Familiarity with interpreting technical schematics or blueprints.
  • Basic knowledge of fiber network infrastructure, routes, splicing, racks, panels, or cabling standards.
  • This role is structured for growth and development. We value aptitude and enthusiasm as much as direct experience.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • the ability to clearly document technical information for various audiences.
  • Documentation Mindset: An understanding of the importance of creating and maintaining clear process documentation and technical guides.
  • Desirable Experience
  • Any exposure to specialized fiber network management software (e.g., OSPi, Netcracker, ArcGIS, SmallWorld).
  • Remote first - Applicant must be a commutable distance to Denver

Compensation

  • $98,040.00 - $154,800.00 USD (Salary)
  • Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
