Responsibilities
- Participate significantly in projects to optimize and improve existing materials, products, processes and/or procedures.
- Contribute to project plan development, execution and reporting activities to support CoorsTek project management activities.
- Devise basic research methods and documents results and procedures.
- As the R&D Engineer, you will provide engineering support and technical guidance to material, product, and process development programs.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Ceramic Engineering, Materials Science preferred or related Engineering field.
- A minimum of one (1) year of relevant industry experience, which may include internship, co-op, or other applicable hands-on experience.
- Hands on oxide ceramic materials formulation and processing experience highly preferred.
Skills
- Sound knowledge of mathematics, statistics, engineering science and ceramic processing.
- Knowledge of ceramic materials and processing.
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized and detail oriented.
Compensation
- USD 82,000.00 - USD 115,000.00
- Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
