About the role
- To provide the fullest educational opportunity for each student by minimizing absence due to illness and creating a climate of health and well-being in the school.
- To strengthen and facilitate the education process by modifying or removing health-related barriers to learning and promote optimal levels of well-being to student.
- To provide and/or enhance existing quality medical and health educational experiences.
Requirements
- BLS and computer skills required.
- is not meant to cover or include all the tasks, duties or responsibilities the employee may be required to perform.
- This includes having the ability to float to different schools for either short or long-term need.
- Possesses critical thinking, positive attitude, the ability to multitask, and appropriately delegate.
Nice to have
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate in Nursing Degree required.
- Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN) preferred or required with 5 years of hire date.
Compensation
- Provides student and parent education when indicated, and ensures mandated immunizations/testing is complete and documented annually.
